Introduction
This policy on the collection and processing of personal data and the use of cookies describes how Malte Haaning Plastic A/S, CVR 16 20 65 47 (hereinafter "us", "we" or "our") as the data controller collects and processes personal data about you as a customer when you visit and use our website and/or webshop (hereinafter "Product"). When you use our Product and submit your personal data to us, you agree that this policy applies.

 

What information do we collect and for what purposes?
When you use our Product, we collect information about you using cookies. This information includes your browser type, your search terms on our Product and its websites, your IP address and information about your computer type (hereinafter "Cookie data"). We generally use cookie data to improve our Product and improve conversion on our websites. See also our cookie policy.

When you use our Product, we collect and process personal data about you in order to deliver the Product correctly to you. This data is both collected by us and provided by you and includes, for the webshop, name, address, e-mail, telephone number (hereafter "General customer data"), log of activity when using the Product.

We need to collect and process customers' and users' personal information for the following purposes:

  • Customers must be able to buy products from the webshop and have them delivered.
  • We must be able to contact customers if they have asked us to.

 

What is the basis of our treatment?
Our processing of Cookie data is carried out because the processing is necessary for us to safeguard our legitimate interest in improving the user experience when using our Product.
Our processing of your General customer data is carried out because the processing is necessary to fulfill the agreement on the purchase of our products with you.

 

Do we pass on your personal data to others?
We only pass on your personal data to others if the law allows it.
We use external companies as suppliers to deliver our services in the best possible way. These external suppliers are called data processors and in certain cases process your personal data in connection with their provision of services to us. Our data processors only process your personal data according to our instructions and in accordance with the legal requirements for data processors.

 

How long do we store your personal data?
We continuously ensure that your personal data is deleted when it is no longer relevant for the purposes for which we have collected it. However, we retain your personal data to the extent that the legislation requires it, which is, for example, the case with bookkeeping data covered by the Bookkeeping Act.

 

What rights do you have as a registered user?
As registered, you have a number of rights that we can help you with. Your rights include the following:

  1. You have the right to gain insight into what personal data we process about you, for what purposes we process the data and whether we pass on personal data to others.
  2. You have the right to have incorrect personal data about you corrected.
  3. In certain cases, you have the right to have certain of your personal data deleted.
  4. In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data limited, so that we only store your personal data for a given period.
  5. You have the right to so-called data portability of the information you have provided to us, as regards the personal data that we have collected on the basis of your consent, or because we need to use personal data to fulfill a contract with you.
  6. In certain cases, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data on the basis of reasons and circumstances relating to your particular situation.
  7. If we have obtained your consent for part of our processing of your personal data, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time, after which the personal data collected on the basis of your consent will be deleted.

 

Your rights of appeal
You can complain about:

  1. how your personal data has been processed
  2. how your request for data insight has been handled
  3. how your complaint has been handled
  4. any decision made following a complaint

You have the right to complain if you believe that we are not living up to our responsibility for the protection of personal data.

We will send you a confirmation within 14 days and do our best to process the case within 3 months.

If you wish to make use of your rights as described above, you must contact the e-mail that appears in this Policy under contact.

We endeavor to do everything possible to meet your wishes regarding our processing of personal data. If, despite this, you wish to complain, this can be done to the Danish Data Protection Authority (www.datatilsynet.dk)

 

Changes to this Policy
The rapid development of the internet means that changes in our processing of personal data may become necessary. We reserve the right to update and change this Policy. If we do, we correct the date of "last updated" at the bottom of the page. In the event of significant changes, we will notify you in the form of a visible notice on our website.
